Jennifer Bloech was born in Fort Benning, Georgia, then raised in North Carolina, until moving to the Philadelphia suburbs and growing up with Aqua Net (the bigger hair, the better), the Philadelphia Flyers, cheesesteaks, and most importantly, the Philadelphia Eagles. She has 2 Eagles tattoos, one of which had to be re-done when the logo changed in 1996. So don’t ever accuse her of being a bandwagon fan.
Jenn moved back to North Carolina and attended UNC-Greensboro, then achieved her personal goal of moving to Wilmington in 1997. She started a $5.00/hour position (no kidding) as part of the morning and midday production team with WECT news. Tired of eating ramen noodles, she got a job with WGNI as a copywriter and eventually moved up to sales. After a stint in Charlotte, then many years in radio management, Jenn joined a full service advertising agency in Wilmington to allow her more freedom in her career.
10 years later, she decided it was time to make a change and take her experience and abilities to the next level by co-founding her own advertising agency — Eagle Eye Marketing. She loves marketing and advertising and can’t imagine doing anything else, anywhere else. (Unless, of course, something with the Philadelphia Eagles presented itself.)
When Jenn isn’t writing commercial scripts, filing co-op claims, and just making sure she’s over-serving her clients, she’s spending time with her fabulously talented boys, Sam and Jack, as well as her Boston Terrier Pickles, her Jack Russell/Pug mix Marvin (DNA test pending), and her attentive and loving husband, Chris. She’s not afraid of a third glass of red wine and loves good food. She’s also on the board of Pawz Foundation, a local charitable organization helping animal rescue groups, and has a passion for rescuing senior Boston Terriers.
Asked to describe Jennifer, those closest to her say:
Best wife in the world. She’s very dedicated. And moody. (She disagrees.) And always right. (She agrees.)” — Chris
Our mom loves us and she’s pretty.” — Jack
What happens if your business is an epic fail?” — Sam… asked Jennifer this question 30 days after starting her own business. Yikes.
The Eagles bag/briefcase is a bit much. But she does a hell of a job for us. We recommend anyone looking for assistance with their marketing needs to call Jennifer, like yesterday.” — An Eagle Eye Marketing Client
